“I started selling jewelry on Orchard Street 32 years ago with one counter in a friend’s bra and girdle store. Since then, my business has evolved and flourished into accessorizing, personal shopping, and consultations for everyone from celebrities and politicians to my sophisticated customers from all over the world.

Rich in history, Orchard, Norfolk and Aldridge Street personify New York City’s Lower East Side. Once the home of immigrants, dreamers and pioneers, these historic streets have become a Mecca for artsy, edgy, talented young artists and fashion designers. This has provided me with the best education to serve an eclectic and interesting clientele.

I have learned to service a vast population with varied tastes, backgrounds and budgets. And I have become famous for serving today’s fashion-conscious woman from Australia to Canada, from Israel to Iceland, and everywhere in between.

I have served on the board of the Lower East Side Business Improvement District, and I was part of a New York City think tank for entrepreneurs, and I have been on many small business improvement panels. I have always encouraged new designers and artists; I have a passion for what I do and hope to communicate all of this in this new stage of my career. So here we go, Bennie’s New York online.
